HomeTurf® has been in business specializing in artificial turf installation in the San Diego Area since 2006. We have performed hundreds of installations of artificial grass and putting greens in the San Diego area. Many companies have come and gone but HomeTurf® Synthetic Grass Lawns intends to stay in business by providing San Diego area residents with superior products at a fair price.
We pay workers’ compensation for all of our employees, and we do not hire day laborers. We regularly get referrals from our customers which comprises a large part of our business. At HomeTurf® we believe we offer the best value on installed artificial turf in the San Diego area.

Steve McLean
After seven successful years in the artificial turf industry, Steve founded HomeTurf, LLC, a leading Artificial Lawn Supply distributor in San Diego, California. Throughout his career, Steve played a key role in building a nationwide distribution network by partnering with landscape product distributors and establishing relationships with major retailers, including managing turf services for Home Depot across multiple counties in Southern California. Before founding HomeTurf, Steve spent over 22 years at Hydro-Scape Products, Inc., holding various sales leadership positions and ultimately serving as Director of Sales. He brings extensive industry expertise to HomeTurf.

Gretchen Palafox
Introducing Gretchen Palafox, a dynamic addition to the HomeTurf team in 2023. With four years of invaluable experience in the realm of artificial turf sales, Gretchen brings an unmatched expertise to the table. Her role as a customer relations specialist encompasses fostering robust partnerships with contractors, installers, and fellow turf industry leaders. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Gretchen’s bilingual proficiency ensures seamless communication and unparalleled service in a diverse and ever-evolving market.

Jake Cubin is a key member of the HomeTurf team, bringing structure and dedication to the operations since joining in 2022. Starting as a driver, Jake quickly became an essential part of ensuring precise and timely deliveries. His hard work and expertise have earned him the role of Warehouse Manager, where he now oversees order preparation, shipping, receiving, and customer service. Jake’s growth at HomeTurf highlights the company’s commitment to recognizing talent and fostering internal development, with his contributions playing a significant role in the company’s ongoing success.
